This specialty coffee is technically known as Experimental Anaerobic Fermented Arabica Naturals.

  • Taste Profile - Black Current, Milk Chocolate, Prunes, Round juicy acidity, with nuanced aftertaste of Juniper spice
  • Suggested Brewing Method - Indian Filter, French Press, Aeropress, Moka Pot, Pour Over and Cold Brew 
  • Suggested Consuming Method - Black coffee (not suggested to have with milk)

Decent, lacking some depth

Not a huge fan, but I had to try because I like Kumaradhara's coffees. Of course there isn't much of a gin flavour (wasn't expecting an obvious gin flavour), but I was hoping to taste some kind of impact from the juniper-y flavours that gin has as a base. I couldn't taste that bite, and in fact I found the coffee smooth but lacking a bit of depth. It's good as a drink if you're looking to just having a nice coffee on the table that has a good story but you wouldn't 100% be paying attention to the flavour of it. But I would say if you want to savour the coffee, try some of Kumardhara's other coffees.
